After graduating from Auburn University I moved to Birmingham, Alabama with my husband John to begin a career in pharmaceutical sales. John and I thought we would live in Birmingham until one day retiring at the beach, but as much as we loved living in Birmingham we felt something was missing. While John and I were discussing our careers and future plans one evening, I suggested we move to the beach then. Why not? My field allowed me to transfer and John was sure to find work as a builder in one of the most active real estate markets in the South. We packed up and made the move immediately!
John started his own construction company and began building high-end custom homes in WaterColor and WaterSound. I fell in love with the architecture, style and interior design that largely defines the homes along 30A and in Destin. As my love grew I became increasingly involved with his business and realized my passion for real estate sales. It was not long at all before I pursued my real estate license and became a Realtor.
I gained significant knowledge about local properties by watching homes blossom from a mere idea, leaping onto paper and emerging from framed boxes to become the realization of someone's ultimate dream home. I can truly appreciate and understand the second home market.
As a Buyer Specialist for Allen Adams and the 850 Properties Team, I am able to focus 100% of my attention on doing what I love most – introducing you, the buyer, to the homes and neighborhoods, architecture and design showcased by our beautiful Emerald Coast. I work very closely with my buyers from introduction until far beyond the first purchase.
